What is the Future of Democracy? Is it a Realistic Option?
I think the future of our democracy is going to be positive if we all as Americans take a stand again for what we believe in. Where we all have a common goal like the "Founding Father's" did. They had a passion that I think we are lacking now. It is sad to see what has happening to our nation, we have a deficit that is almost unpayable and have our priorities mixed up. We value money more than anything and have become incredibly materialistic and selfish. We need to get back to our core values and I think we will be fine. I think that if enough people believe that, we are gong to be just fine. We just need to make some drastic changes. We can do it! I believe in all of us!

Looking over the blog, I perceive the vision and mission of the blog to be to provide opinions, do a little research, and engage the public on the issues of today and politics in general. I can’t say that I see a mission statement but the blog does not really need one. It’s pretty easy to see what it is.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the cleanest and easily readable blogs of all the ones that I have seen. Thought the design looks pretty basic, it is also great. It is just a white center with a pinkish looking background. The posts are very easy to read and are well organized. I really like the images that are included at the end of every post. Another aspect of the blog that I like is the news feed on the right hand side that allows you to change between Government news and Economic news. All the blog posts have citations included in them, which is great. I also appreciate that all the blog entries were posted using the same font and size through out the blog. This makes the blog easier to read.
I can’t really say anything negative about the blog itself, it does look really good. One aspect I might look into adding is the use of some other sources in the blog posts, not just the book. It’s just me. I enjoy doing my own research. Even though I like the images that were added at the end of each post, I might add some video links that would have something to do with the topics we were studying or just politics in general.
Overall I really like the blog design. It is very clean and crisp looking. I’m not a fan of big or bigger government so we would have to agree to disagree on pretty much everything that was written about in the blog. Very good job overall. I like reading opposite opinions, it makes for better conversations. Good job again.
